Habitat ReStore Cape May Court House

COMING SOON!
Habitat for Humanity is “EXCITED” to announce the coming of the new Cape May County Habitat ReStore!  Habitat ReStores are home improvement retails stores and donation centers that sell new and gently used furniture, appliances, home accessories, building materials and more to the public at a fraction of the retail price. These goods are donated by individuals, distributors, manufacturers and dealers.  Proceeds from the ReStores are used to help build strength, stability, self-reliance and shelter in local communities and around the world.

The target date to open the Cape May County Habitat ReStore is Saturday, May 6, 2017.  It will be located at 20 Court House So Dennis Road in the shopping plaza next to Big Lots in Cape May Court House, NJ. In order to meet the goal of opening in May, we need the help and support of volunteers from the community-at-large.  This is a great opportunity for volunteers of all skills levels to work side by side in getting the new Cape May County Habitat ReStore opened on the targeted date.
If you want to help and would like to volunteer as an individual, business, organization or a group for a day or as many days as you or your group can, Register Right Here!

The main focus in January and February will be to strip and seal the floors, paint the interior walls, install lighting as well as demolition, construction and clean-up within specific areas of the Cape May County Habitat ReStore space.  All volunteer work will take place inside, but wear clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty.  Coffee, donuts and snacks will be provided to fuel and refuel your kind service.

Thank you in advance for volunteering your time at the Cape May County Habitat ReStore whose mission is to further the ministry of Habitat for Humanity by providing additional funding through the sale of merchandise so that Habitat for Humanity Cape May County can continue to help more families build, renovate or repair their homes.
