_1/24/2012- Construction on Stick-Build Home Project Begins
On Tuesday January 24th, Habitat Cape May began it's first stick-build project in years, at 703 Reeves Street in Whitesboro, on a lot generously donated by Middle Township. One of our affiliates goals over the past two years has been to develop the capacity to support a robust volunteer home-building program, which is at the core of a strong Habitat for Humanity affiliate. Over 20 volunteers joined our construction leaders for the project kick-off--so many that we ran out of hard hats! We look forward to seeing lots of new people out at the work site. Volunteer workdays are planned for Tue, Thu and every other Sat--Sign up here.
